The RED Bookshelf

The Red Bookshelf is a community-driven literacy program that collects gently used children’s books, repairs them with the help of volunteers, and places them on bright red shelves in schools, barbershops, health centers, and other local spaces. These free books give kids the joy of ownership and help foster a lifelong love of reading, while engaging volunteers and partners to make literacy accessible for all.
